Educating towards the prudent entrepreneurial self – an educational journey including agency and social awareness to handle the unknown

Purpose This paper explores the idea of prudent entrepreneurial self, through re-conceptualizing prudence into domain education, to unite two processes becoming enterprising and entrepreneurial. It is argued that developing a capacity for among graduates involves past, present conjecture forms knowledge authors find in interplay between individuation social awareness. Design/methodology/approach Building on Palmer's wholeness, discuss six poles paradoxes education conjunction establish philosophical argument stimulating development as fundamentally important contemporary notions education. Findings The presents model develop schema moves students towards selves. rests interrelated developmental – awareness conditional three (past, conjecture) makes up where means handle or cope with unknown. Research limitations/implications argues enterprise entrepreneurship realize their potential contributions, both relationships each field overarching purpose ties fields together need be rethought, connected further creating wholeness emerging scholarly discipline.
